What is the UltraSlim RF Facialâ„¢
The UltraSlim RF Facialâ„¢ in a non invasive treatment using Multipolar Radio Frquency (RF) to gently lift and tone the skin in the area being treated on the face, neck and under the chin. Unlike traditional Tripollar RF which uses 3 probes, the UltraSlim RF Facialâ„¢uses Multipolar RF technology also know as Quadpolar using 4 probes to treat the area for maximum results.
What can Radio Frequency (RF) energy treat?
Radiofrequency (RF) energy treatment is technology for non-surgical tightening of the early signs of loose or sagging skin; ideal for those people who either don’t want, or don’t believe they are old enough to have a surgical procedure. It is commonly used to treat the forehead (lift brows and tightens forehead skin), under the eyes (thickens skin and tightens and lifts the upper cheek skin), cheeks (lifts slightly and diminishes enlarged pores), mid-face, jaw line (diminishes jowling and sagging along the jaw line), and the neck (tightens skin and diminishes wrinkling of the neck). Some of our clients also use RF during our Ultrasound Cavitation procedures to target loose skin in the tummy area following child birth.
What is the procedure?
You will be required to wash your face with soap and warm water prior to attending for your treatment, in order to remove any makeup and skin oils which could interfere with the application of the RF treatment. A cooling gel is applied to the facial and neck area prior to the treatment due to the RF energy heat which is applied to the skin area during treatments. The RF probe will then be applied to the facial area, neck or under the chin depending on the area you wish to target most. The procedure is a totally non invasive procedure requiring no anesthesia, no needles and no pain.
Will I see immediate results?
Immediately following the treatment, your skin will feel tighter, with more tightening improvements appearing gradually over the months after treatment. Results after several treatments are said to last up to a couple of years, and a single initial treatment can be enough to produce results in some people depending on skin thickness and the individuals response to treatment, however your technician will be able to determine a course of treatments specific to you and your needs.

Who should not have a Radiofrequency For Facial Rejuvenation treatment?
As long as you are generally healthy and don’t have any skin diseases or infections in the area treated, there are few medical reasons why patients should not undergo this treatment.
People with sensory disturbance to the skin may not be considered good candidates as this could make the reporting of discomfort during the procedure unreliable, leading to potential harm. Although there is no evidence that this treatment is harmful for pregnant women, you would generally be advised to wait until after you have given birth before embarking upon a course of treatment.
More importantly, people with electrical devices e.g., pacemakers, or metal implants e.g., artificial metal hip joints, heart valves or dental plates, cannot be treated because RF current flowing through the body may interfere with these devices or heat up metal implants, which could be dangerous.
